Rani Mukherjee, the chubby Bong beauty along with the “Rock On” star Farhan Akhtar visited Avani Riverside Mall on 26th November 2012 for the promotion of her upcoming movie “TALAASH” directed by Reema Kagti and produced jointly by Excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan Productions.
The photography was mainly done during March to November 2011 in London, Mumbai and Pondicherry.
The soundtrack of the movie was released by T-series on 19th October 2012, with melodious compositions by Ram Sampath with the lyrics of Javed Akhtar.
The movie is an Indian suspense and has received U/A certificate.
The mall was jampacked because of the populace who were eagerly waiting for a glimpse of “Roshni” of the movie “Talaash”. The cast and crew is quite optimistic about the movie and are excited about the rare combinations of people that forma part of the movie. There is Aamir and Rani after Mangal Pandey, Kagti and Zoya Akhtar in the roles of a storywriter and screenplay writer after “Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara”.
While speaking to the media, Rani shared some bits of her personal experience of working with Aamir Khan. She said that before coming into movies she had seen Kayamat Se Kayamat Tak and since then had a crush on Aamir. In fact during the shooting of Ghulam she couldn’t even look straight into Amir’s eyes before the clap stick sounded.
The director is very excited to work with Aamir Khan once again and even says that she is ready to do anything to get this opportunity again. Her last movie “Honeymmon Travels Pvt. Ltd.” was not that big a bumper but this time she is not ready to lose the chance of making the movie a blockbuster. While in the city the director was also eager to meet new talents. “I would definitely like to scout for new talent in the city. I am a movie buff and I watch Bengali films too,” said Reema Kagti.
