When Economy and Security become casualties of corruption, the nation dissolves into Paper Boat, ever vulnerable. The fraudulent business of Collective Investment Scheme has mushroomed in West Bengal by cashing on the uncontrollable greed of gullible investors. The adverse effect of this unregulated market on Gross Domestic Savings and the money getting into the wrong hands has made the Central Government concerned. Arvind, an Officer from National Investigation Agency is deputed for investigation.
Bhuvan, the son of a freedom fighter Raman, becomes instrumental in the unscrupulous Chit Fund business. Bhuvan’s journalist girlfriend, Nusrat finds hard to believe how such abnormally high returns could be offered by these schemes. Raman’s wife and son, Bhuvan, die in mysterious circumstances.
Arvind reignites the revolutionary zeal in Raman. The face of dreaded villain, Sen Sharma, also a freedom fighter is unveiled. What the law and administration couldn’t do, will this octogenarian freedom fighter, Raman be able to do?
