The music launch of the modern Bengali songs album K-Elo took place recently at Press Club. Present at the launch of the music album was Mon Chatterjee, Mayuri, Arindam (Kaya Band), Gaurab Chatterjee and Mainak Bumpy Nag Chowdhury. The music has been launched by Rooh Music Company.
Mayuri, the singer who had lent her voice to three songs was visibly excited on the launch of her first music album. “This is my first album and it has been a great experience working with Mon Chatterjee. The songs in the album are of varied emotions and the audience will be able to relate to the songs very easily. There is romance, tragedy, in the songs. I hope the audience likes the song” said Mayuri.
Mon Chatterjee who has played a dual role in this Audio Music Album by recording songs and also penning them down was equally ecstatic on the occasion. “There are eight songs in the album. The title track K-elo speaks about a character which despite remaining in the society remains aloof from it. The tracks are different from one another. I have sung a duet with Mayuri and I felt that she has done a great job in that song. Manash Bhattacharya who has also composed the music along with me in this album is someone with whom I have worked before. Hence this album is so special to me” said Mon Chatterjee.
Arindam from Kaya band who was also present on the occasion spoke highly about the initiatives and efforts taken by Rooh Music Company to promote new artists. The singer felt that the audience must join hands with the artists to fight piracy which is the reason behind closing down of many shops like the Music World.
K-Elo sounds promising and one can only hope that it will be well appreciated by the audience.
