Hanuman.com is an upcoming Bengali film with Prasenjit Chatterjee in its lead role. Hanuman.com Bengali Audio Songs album was recently launched at City Center 2. Prasenjit Chatterjee, director Gaurav Pandey, Sidhu, Rupankar, Indraadip Dasgupta, Gaurab Chatterjee (Gabu), Monomoy were present at the music launch of the film. The evening also saw a musical tribute given to the singer Gautam Chattopadhyay.

The film Hanuman.com had used the cult song “bhebe dekecho ki” which was initially sung by Gautam Chattopadhyay and his band Mohiner Ghoraguli. “The film shows how the internet changes the life of Anjani Putra completely after the internet connection makes way into his home. He becomes more attached with the virtual world and loses his touch with the people around him. Hence we thought of Gautam Chattopadhyay’s song which aptly describes the situation. Gautam da was a visionary and what he wrote many years before is the reality now” said Gaurav Pandey.

The album has seven songs. The songs have been sung by Sayani Palit, Arijit Singh, Partha Sarathi Bhattacharya and others. “It is indeed a pleasure to get a whole lot of talented musicians on stage for the music launch. It is indeed very encouraging to compose music for such a talented star cast” said music director Indraadip Dasgupta.

Prosenjit Chatterjee urged all the assembled singers to sing the song “Bhebe deekcho ki” as a fitting tribute to Gautam Chattopadhyay. Gaurab Chatterjee, son of Gautam Chattopadhyay was touched by this gesture and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the entire team of Hanuman.com.

The movie Hanuman.com is a thriller which is set in the net savvy world of today. The film is also the first movie to be shot in Iceland. The film is slated for release on the 6th of December.
