Fayre Media Pvt. Ltd presented the tenth edition of its three day Fashion and lifestyle Exhibition – Kolkata Fashion Fair. The exposition was inaugurated by actress Parijat Chakraborty. The exhibition cum sale is on for three days from 17th to 19th December 2013.
Kolkata Fashion Fair, commonly referred to as – KFF, now in its tenth edition is renowned for showcasing over 100 local, national and international trends in the fashion and lifestyle industry. The event focuses on the current status of trends and consumption of the existing market and general buyers. Kolkata Fashion Fair brings in the latest fashion for the upcoming festive and party season. Exhibitors participating in the event are presenting some of the most contemporary as well as ethnic fashion and lifestyle offerings for the shopaholics of the city.
Exhibitors and visitors from different states and countries are participating in the event bringing in their fashion and lifestyle offerings to mark their culture. There are exhibitors from across India, from States like Madhya Pradesh which is presenting designer and handloom Chanderi Sarees, Exhibitors like Shree Balaji Collection, Akola Prints and Prarup Fashions from Rajasthan have beautiful Bed sheet, Bed Cover, Salwar Suit Saree, Dupatta, Fabrics, Gota Borders & Sarees. Handworkz and Home dressers from Mumbai have a wide range of Name Plates, Designer Clocks, Wall Frames, Lamps, Trays in Dokra Warli Madhubani and bedcovers, bedsheet, Cushion Covers, Mat etc. On the other hand, there is Kashmir Art Gallery and Kashmir Haat from Kashmir with their collection of Pasmina shawls, stoles, blankets etc. Then there are number of regional participants as well with their collections to interest the people of Kolkata.
Ms. Parijat, at the inauguration ceremony joyously said, “The collection of suits and sarees is amazing. In fact I saw chandbalis at a shop and they are extremely pretty. I must admit that this indeed is a fabulous opportunity to discover such a wide range of products under single roof and is certainly an event not to be missed especially when the festive shopping is on everybody’s mind. The main advantage of buying a dress from here is that it will be your unique dress and no one else will have another copy of the dress.” The actress wore an Anarkali suit made by Designer Rajlakshmi at the event. The actress is also busy with her role in the Bengali film Arundhuti which also stars Koel Mullick.
This Exhibition is also exclusive for the Bengalis with huge collection of chic saris, dress material, Kurtis, jewellery, accessories and other home decor and utility items which are being put up on display by the various local and regional exhibitors especially for this festive season.
