After a span of fifteen long years, Tollywood Hero Prasenjit Chatterjee will be seen paired with his wife Arpita Chatterjee for an ad film for Senco Gold. The star couple of Tollywood has been signed by the jewelry company as their brand ambassadors for the new campaign called “Notun Tumi” or the “New You”. Mr. Shankar Sen, the Chairman of Senco Gold, Biswajit Chatterjee and Shuvaprasanna were present at the formal announcement function held at Hotel Hindustan International.
In a red sari, laden with wonderful gold ornaments, Arpita looked the quintessential Bengali wife. “I have a very long association with this jewelry company as I had done a campaign for them some twenty years ago. Innovative designs are what attract me to the jewelry made by this company. Whenever I wear the designs made by them, I really discover a new me” said the actress.
Black suit and rimless spectacles gave our very own Jatishwar, Tollywood Hero Prosenjit Chatterjee the look of a stately prince. The actor smiled and compared his transition in acting with the new concept of Notun Tumi. “With every film that I have done I have rediscovered myself. For example, it is after doing films like Moner Manush, and Jatiswar, I have realized that I am capable of doing such films too. Having done only commercial Bengali Films, I never thought I will be able to do justice to these roles too. I have reinvented and recreated myself. This is what the brand also does with the yellow metal. I have little knowledge of gold. But I love the designs of this company” said the actor with a smile. When asked about Arpita’s choice of gold jewelry, he said “I have always noticed that she is more interested in traditional designs. She always asks about how old the piece of jewelry is. This is her style of buying jewelry”.
The ad film that the star couple has shot for has been directed by Bengali Film Rangbaaz maker Raja Chanda and shall hit the screens soon.
