Sex education among teenagers is a topic of much controversy in our society. While many individuals will be voting for sex education and awareness, there are others who feel this will create a bad impression on the minds of teenagers. This is exactly the subject of Partha Sarathi Joarder’s upcoming Bangla film Masoom. Masoom Bengali Audio Songs were recently launched at Hotel Hindusthan International. Partha Sarathi Joarder, Ritika, Majusree, Rupam Islam were present for the music launch of this new Bangla film.
Subhayu, Sanchayita and Sanjib Sarkar have composed the music for this film which has five songs. Prasenjit Mullick, Madhuri, Rupam Islam, Mahalaxmi Iyer have lent their voices to the tracks in this film. “The music in this film is very important. All the songs that have been kept in this film blend well with the situations. One will never feel that they have been burdened with one song after the other” said Partha Sarathi Joarder. “My film revolves around a young teenage couple who engages in sex and then faces troublesome consequences. Our society has a bad tendency of hiding sex related facts from children. As a result what happens is they remain ignorant and commit mistakes eventually becoming victims of social rebuke. With the help of my film I want to convey the fact that sex education must be introduced in schools as this will enhance the ideas of many teenagers considerably”.
Akash and Ritika are the newcomers in this film. Akash plays the role of Sourav while Ritika plays the role of Twinkle in this film. Krishnakishore Mukherjee plays the role of Mr. Gomes while Majusree plays the role of Mrs. Gomes in this film.
The film releases on the 7th of February.
