The music recording of upcoming Bengali film Dakbaksho took place at Studio Vibrations. Present at the recording session were National Award winning singer Rupankar, Monomoy, lyricist Prosen, music director Prosenjit Choudhury, Supriti Choudhury, Satrajit Sarkar and Mou.
Debutant director Prosenjit Choudhury’s film Dakbasksho is about the telegram service which has been closed. Now when the postal service is also awaiting a similar fate in our country an individual starts to drop letters in a cancelled letter box. The letters have no address written on them, which is a very strange thing. When the content of the letters are scrutinized suspicion arise. The letters clearly indicate that a conspiracy is being hatched and someone will be murdered. While efforts are on to solve this mystery of the letters it is parallel shown that a popular actress suddenly quits a film post which a photographer comes to meet her. Who is the photographer? What is the girl’s real identity? What is their relation with the letter box? All these questions will be answered in this film titled Dakbaksho.
Rupankar who was present at the recording said “I am elated that I am coming back with this film. I am doubly happy as the songs in the film cannot be categorized as those which are enjoyed by people while munching on popcorns. I will be singing those songs which will have my own style and Gayaki. The songs written by my friend Prosen in this film aptly suit my style”.
Satrajit Sarkar and Supriti Choudhury will be seen in pivotal roles in the film. Music of the film has been done by Prosenjit Choudhury.
The film is eying for a December release.
