Swastika Mukherjee Film ‘Take One’ Now Available on Home Video

Take one is one Bengali film which made a statement with its bold posters and also due to the bold story that it narrated. After gathering much acclaim both from the audience and the critics alike, the home video of the film was released at M3 store in South City Mall. This launch was done in the presence of the sexy Bengali actress Swastika Mukherjee, her daughter Anwesha and director Mainak Bhowmick.

Take One is the story based on the life of an Indian actress, and the trauma that she goes through when one of the sex scenes from one of her foreign films gets leaked on the internet. Ironically this happens when the actress is bust shooting for a mythological film where she plays the role of Sita and Sita is the symbol of chastity and purity for Indian ladies. To act in the role of such a pious lady when one has done such scenes in the film, is what the common people could not tolerate. The film takes a dig at the hypocrisies that are so prevalent in the society. The biggest highlight of the film is that though the character of Doel and Sita are poles apart, the trials faced by the two of them are on similar lines.

Actress Swastika Mukherjee looked sexy and beautiful in the yellow and white combination short dress that she wore to the occasion. Speaking at the occasion, Swastika Mukherjee said “This will be a good collector’s item for sure. This will also be helpful for those individuals who could not watch the film at the theatre. They will be able to enjoy the film at their home now”.

The DVDs and VCDs of this film are priced at Rs. 299 and Rs. 125 respectively.
