Round two hundred and fifty children of Khushee spent a day full of fun and enthusiasm with the Hercules team at Tridhara Sammilani. The daylong event was an initiative undertaken by a non-profit organization called Khushee which has been launched by India Green Reality Pvt Ltd.
“The sole aim of this program was to ensure that the children get the basic amenities like good food and education so that they can grow up to become responsible citizens of the country. We have done this before in Esplanade about one month ago. We need space to conduct such an event and we contacted many clubs. Tridhara responded and we are conducting this here today. We have the basic target of reaching out to five hundred children in future who will be provided with education till class ten” said Amitava Samanta, Director, India Green Reality Pvt Ltd.
Parambrata Chatterjee, Neel Dutt and director Abhijit Guha came to interact with the children on this occasion and also to promote their upcoming film. Neel Dutt even performed a song in front of the assembled children.
Speaking at the occasion Parambrata said “Haru, the character I play in the film is a representative of those people who have lost many times in their personal lives. The reason why I am here today is to support the activity of Khushee who are doing a commendable job with the children. I am glad I could be a part of this activity”.
The children spent the day with art and craft workshops, puppet shows and magic shows. They also underwent a medical checkup by the doctors of Medica Super Speciality Hospital.
The film Hercules will be releasing on the 29th of August.
