Somchanda Bhattacharya, Shovan Ganguly and Shankha Bandopadhyay have lent their voices to the songs in the film. “I have basically done the background score of the film. The film is wonderful with different layers. When composing the music for the film, I have also tried to give different layers to it so as to make it sound interesting. One of the biggest points that I will like to highlight is that I have been able to work in a very relaxed manner” said Gaurab Chatterjee while speaking with Sholoana Bangaliana.
“It is strange that the first shot that I gave for the film was actually at this guest house. So this is like a full circle with the music launch taking place at the same location where the film began shooting” said actress Ena Saha who plays the role of Mrittika in the film.
Speaking at the occasion, director Surajit Dhar highlighted on Ena’s capability of singing well. Ena however negated the fact stating that people will run away if she started singing. “Britto is a typical Bengali film which will be appealing to the Bengali audience. The emotions and the situations depicted in the film happen in our day to day lives. The audience will be able to relate with this very easily” said the director.
Somchanda Bhattacharya and Shovan Ganguly regaled the audience by singing a few lines from the songs that they have sung in the film.
