Eminent singer Indranil Sen recently completed his thirty years journey in the music industry. To commemorate this long journey, the singer organized a musical evening titled Kothai Gaane Indranil. Eminent musicians from the film, music and political fraternity were present at the occasion to encourage the singer and also extend their support.
Haimanti Shukla, Shibaji Chattopadhyay, Satyam Roy Chowdhury, Debasish Kumar were some of the eminent personalities who graced the stage during the celebration of the singer’s thirty years long journey.
“This program is special to me not because I have completed thirty years in the music industry. This is also special because many stalwarts of music have come today. I will be singing in front of them, the very thought of which is giving me goose bumps. Hope they forgive me for any mistakes that I make during my performances” said the singer.
Speaking at the occasion Haimanti Shukla said “Indranil promised me once that he will make a name for himself in the music industry. He has kept his word and I wish him all the luck so that he continues to shine brilliantly in future”.
A part of the proceedings collected from the program will be given to AAPS and the other part will be donated to Rajdanga Sammanayee. The singer was presented with a portrait, a box of sweets and a memento to commemorate his long journey.
The singer sang a medley of songs and kept the audience transfixed. In between the songs he also shared with the audiences many interesting experiences that he had during this long musical journey.
The musical event was an evening to remember indeed for the assembled audiences at Rabindra Sadan auditorium.
