Ahoy Asia, A Multi-Cuisine Restaurant with a Difference Opens Doors to Customers in Salt Lake



Sick and tired of eating the same dishes when you go out with your friends, family members and colleagues? Then Ahoy Asia will be the perfect place for you as it is here that you can tickle your palette to your heart’s fill.


Chef Ashim Dutta said “We have selected a different region of China for the dishes. This is because the other dishes which the people in the city are so much in love with are already known to them. That is why we selected a new region and opted for other and not so known dishes to cater to the palette of the customers. Since the Durga Puja is just around the corner we will also be keeping some dishes like Prawn Malaikari, Bhapa Ilish for those customers who enjoy the traditional dishes”.

The menu at this pan-Asian restaurant comprises of Chilly garlic wingslet, Prawn in XO sauce, Slice chicken Schezuan sauce, Chicken dimsun and Yue yang spicy Barbeque fish, Cheese spinach roll, Chilly garlic paneer, Butter garlic Fishamongst, Chicken yakitori, varieties of Sushi and other delicacies.


The newly opened bar at the restaurant serves the best of liquor, cocktails and mocktails. The restaurant walls have been brightly decorated with dragon paintings so as to give the authentic feel to the customers coming to the restaurant.

The restaurant is primarily targeting the office crowd and also the domestic crowd in Salt Lake.


The puja special buffet priced at Rs. 550 plus taxes per person will be available from 30th September till 3rd October 2014. The restaurant will remain open from 12 noon to 11.30 pm.

Ahoy Asia will be a rich culinary experience for many of the food lovers in the city.
