Singer Banasri Ghoshal’s Hindi music album Chashme Baddoor was recently launched at Innra Guest House in the august presence of celebrities from the music industry.
Banasri Ghoshal shad tarted singing professionally since 1995. Her parents Rabindra Narayan Ghoshal and Shefali Ghoshal had wonderful associations with the Indian music industry. She participated as a singer in many shows conducted both on the government as well as the private levels. She has also lent her voice to jingles, ad films, TV shows, radio programs and also participated in many music festivals and competitions. Her training in singing started at the tender age of three years. She completed her ‘ six years “SANGEET VISHARAD” course from “Allahabad Prayag Sangeet Samity” under the tutelage of Late Sri Krishna Chandra Bandopadhyay and Sri Paresh Santra. Later on with years to her credit she took lessons and specialized in Bengali Modern Songs, Geet, Bhajan, Gajal, Nazrulgeeti, Puratani and Rabindra Sangeet from legends in the field like Sri Prabir Majumder, Chinmoy Chattopadhyay, Sukumar Mitra, Purabi Dutta, Prasad Sen, Chandidas Mal, to name a few. Her previous albums are: LUKABO PREM KI KORE, PREM CHILO TOMAR KACHE, CHADER MATI NOYGO SHYAMA, PHULE PHULE DHOLE DHOLE, JEEBAN SWAPNA AND MAA DEKHA DE.
The latest album which consists of trendy songs is a collection of eight tracks. Lyrically rich, the singer hopes that this album will appeal to all categories of audience. The composer of the songs is a 27 year old chap named Saikat Paul who does not have formal training but is instinctively good at composing music. The name of the album has been given such so as to ward off any evil and unfavorable circumstances which might stand in the way of the success of the album.
Chashme Baddoor promises to engage the audience in lyrical melodies for sure.
