ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Trophy Unveiled in Kolkata; Trophy on a Five City Tour



Will India win the World Cup this time? Will the Indian cricket team be able to recreate the magic again after their spectacular win in 2011? All these questions will soon be answered when the Cricket World Cup will begin on the 14th of February this year. The cricket World Cup 2015 trophy was unveiled in the city of Kolkata recently. The occasion was graced with the presence of Manoj Tiwari, Jhulan Goswami, Debang Gandhi, chess Grandmaster Dibyendu Barua and other eminent dignitaries.

Along with the unveiling of the trophy, a signature campaign was launched by LG, the electronics company who is the global sponsor of the ICC World Cup 2015.


A replica bat of thirty feet height was also placed on which the fans wrote their messages and conveyed their wishes for Team India. Tiwari, Gandhi and Jhulan also signed on the replica bat and conveyed their best wishes for the team.

Manoj Tiwary expressed his delight that the campaign began from Kolkata.

The trophy will be taken to five cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon and Hyderabad. The winner team will be presented with this trophy on 29th March at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
