In a completely new way of promoting the film and reaching out to the people, the cast of the upcoming Bengali film Open Tee Bioscope pasted posters on the walls at Rajballavpara near Shyambazar. Shoojit Sircar who is the producer of the film, actress Sudipta Chakrabarty and director Anindya Chatterjee were also present at the occasion.
The film Open Tee Bioscope is the story of Phoara (played by Riddhi Sen, Son of actor Kaushik Sen) who had never seen his father. His mother always avoided answering the question about his father’s identity. He just had a small passport photograph of his father. However he loses this picture on coming to the new neighborhood. How his life changes and how he discovers his neighborhood in a new light is what the film is all about.
“The film has comedy, drama and lots of emotions which the audiences will be to relate with. The life of the middle class Bengali families in a para (locality) will be shown in this film. Many seated in the audience will be able to connect with the para shown in the film. The film is essentially a teenage film, which shows the subtle nuances of first love, first puff one takes, football and those little things done during childhood days that people treasure as fond memories”, said director Anindya Chatterjee.
Sudipta Chakrabarty as Baisakhi, Kaushik Sen as Mahim, Rajatava Dutta as Gopeswar, Aparajita Auddy as Sarama will be seen playing important roles in this upcoming Bengali film.
The film Open Tee Bioscope releases this Friday, the 16th of January.
