Audio album Daminee consisting of Bengali female centric poems was released in the august presence of Dr. Chandreyee Dutta Guha Roy, Subodh Sarkar, Sri Bratya Basu( Honorable Minister of West Bengal and an eminent actor), visual artist Ramananda Bandopadhyay, Shankha Ghosh and other eminent dignitaries. The album has been brought out by The Aatman Audio.
Dr. Chandreyee Dutta Guha Roy is a well known educationist, counselor, elocutionist and International visual art curator. Chandreyee is known in the field of Bengali recitation both in the city of Joy and also abroad. She has acted as a recitation artist in Calcutta Doordarshan, Tara Bangla and Sonar Bangla. She is also a Gold Medalist in recitation in Inter College Competition in West Bengal representing Presidency College. In 2014, her two albums, one recitation audio and one film on poetry namely Stabok were released in Kolkata.
The audio album on recitation consists of twelve recitation pieces. Some of the poets whose poems have been used in this collection include Rabindranath Tagore, Sunil Ganguly, Subodh sarkar, Joy Goswami, Shankha Ghosh, Mallika Sengupta, Srijato and Nirendranath Chakraborty. Some of the poems included in this album include Bansiwala, Redlight nach, Manipurer Ma, Rajanigondha Coffin, Amader Bonolota, Soptom Gorver konya and others.
