In the august presence of the director Rahul Saha, cast members Soumitra Chatterjee, Samadarshi Dutta and newcomer Avery Singha Roy, the Mahurat of the upcoming Bengali film Madam Er Biye took place at a studio in Kolkata.
The story of the film is about Aditi who was born and brought up in the United States of America. During her first visit to India, she is excited as to what she will get from an unknown place where she had never come before. She comes for a few days. However she wants to stay back and explore more. Hence she needs a permanent visa. She finds Chanchol with whom she forms an ingenious plan to stay in the country as long as she wants. Will her plans succeed or will she fall a prey to her own emotions is what the film is all about.
“I have always been a fan of Soumitra sir and Samadarshi da. To be able to work with Samadarshi da is a dream come true. However I regret that despite being in the same film I do not have any scenes with Soumitra sir” said debutant actress Avery Singha Roy.
The film has been produced by Rana Movies and Entertinment Pvt ltd. Arunava Mukherjee has written the screenplay and the dialogue of the film. P. Durga Prasad S is in charge of the cinematography of the film.
The music of the film is by Sumit Achraya and there are six songs in the film. The songs have been sung by Sreeradha Bandopadhyay, Rupankar, Dibyendu Mukherjee, Subhankar Karmakar, Kamalika Chakraborty and Subhankar Debnath.
Arun Banerjee, Sumita Chatterjee, Bani Kumar Sen, Biswajit Chakraborty will be seen in important roles in the film.
The two hours fifteen minutes long film with its impressive star cast is a rom-com to look forward to.
The film is eyeing for a release during the month of April-May.
