Reggae Rajahs wows Kolkata from atop the Red Bull Tour Bus



In their third visit to the eastern side of the country, Red Bull Tour Bus stopped by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kolkata. They brought along with them the best of reggae sounds to the music lovers of this genre of music.

Opening the stage for The Reggae Rajahs at IIM, were Kolkata’s very own alternative rock band, Underground Authority. The five piece local band created frenzy with their music. The bands played to a packed house at this exhilarating concert with a stage that was atop a bus.



The Reggae Rajahs is a reggae sound-system formed in 2009 in New Delhi. The group consists of Diggy Dang, Mr. Herbalist and DJ MoCity. The trio had played at various venues across the country and is looking forward to bringing international reggae artists to India. This will also help in catering to the needs of the listeners of this genre of music.


Underground Authority is an alternative rock/rap rock band from the city. The band was formed in early 2010. The band’s music is influenced by a blend of protest poetry, reggae, alt rock and rap rock. The band also uses socio-political messages and anti-capitalism agenda in the lyrics of their songs.


The Rajahs next performed at Xavier’s Institute of Management (XIMB), Bhubaneswar and kept the audiences mesmerized at the institute.
