Indo-Bangladesh Music Album Bhalobashbi Re Tui

Rj Roopsha and singer Ahmed Razeeb broke the political boundaries between India and Bangladesh to collaborate in a musical odyssey titled Bhalobashbi Re Tui. The music album which is a product of their mutual love for music was recently released in the august presence of eminent dignitaries from the film and music fraternity like Sidhu, Gabu, Pota, Mahua Lahiri, Roopsha, director Shiboprasad Mukherjee, Joy Sarkar, Raghab Chatterjee and others.

Rj Roopsha and Ahmed Razeed met two years back in Kolkata when Razeeb came to release his first international album Othocho. They became e-friends via a social networking site. One day he asked her to send the lyrics of a Facebook post that she had posted. This led to the discovery of a new world and her emotions which traced back to class 7.

Nostalgia, love and cherished moments form the crux of this music album. The music composer of this album is Ahmed Razeeb and the music arranger is Meer Masum (Bangladesh). The concept, lyrics and script is by Roopsha Dasguupta, except one by Ninia De.

Speaking at the occasion, Mahua Lahiri said “This year is special because Asha Audio turns twenty this year. And today all the bands and singers are present who had been part of this long journey of Asha Audio. I am also glad to release Roopsha and Razeeb’s album too, as their project is something new and unique”.

Priced at Rs. 99, the album has been brought out by Asha Audio.
