Ace singers Rupankar Bagchi and Raghab Chatterjee were present at the song recording for the upcoming Bengali film Ei To Jeebon. The recording of the song took place at Studio Music Room.
The story of Ei To Jeebon is about the suicides that people notice happening daily in the city. There are many people who cannot tolerate the pains and sufferings of life and commit suicide. There are also people who overcome these feelings and carry on with their duties. Amit, the main protagonist of the story is one such individual who has been subjected to so much depression that he wants to commit suicide to get rid of the anxieties of life. The life of Amit has been shown in four phases in the film. What happens to Amit? Does he really commit suicide? Or does he understand life and continue to live as a contented man? The film answers all these questions.
“The song O jeebon re which is being recorded today is a song which will act as music therapy for Amit. Amit will understand that he is not the only one with troubles. There are many people all around him with far more troubles than he has ever faced” said director Biplob Sarkar.
The music of the film has been composed by Dev Gosain. There are five songs in the film. O jeebon re, Maa, Ami jonm ondho jonom dukhi, Ektuku chowa lagge and Kokono bhabini ami.
The cast of the film consists of Suman, Dipannita, Kharaj Mukherjee, Biswajit Chakraborty, Tulika Basu, Biplab Chatterjee, Bodhisattwa Majumdar, Pulokita Ghosh and Kalyan Chatterjee.
The film is eyeing for a release during Jamai Sasthi.
