Upcoming Bengali Film Fakebook Launched
Addicted to Facebook? Do you keep checking the social media site frequently for notifications and messages from your online friends? But have you ever thought about whether the individuals you mingle with on the site are real or are they faked? Upcoming Bengali film Fakebook deals essentially with this issue. The poster launch of this film took place recently in the presence of Ridhima Ghosh, Indrashish Ray, director Sanjay Bardhan, Gaurav Chakrabarty and Shweta Singh.
“We all have worked together before and we have a great chemistry both in reel and real life. This shows easily on screen. My role is that of Payel, a girl hailing from Delhi. She visits the social media site to pass her time” said actress Ridhima Ghosh who looked sexy in the long flowing gown that she wore at the event.
The story of the film Fakebook revolves around four characters named Hutum, Payel, Vidyaan and Rajarshi. How the site affects their lives and how far can one can go for one’s love is what the film will showcase.
Indrashish Ray who will be seen enacting the role of Vidyaan, a Delhi boy said that picking up the accent and carrying off the attitude was tough and challenging. He had to memorize many lines. “However I feel that more than my learning the accent, Gaurav’s role was more challenging as Hutum. He has done a wonderful job as Hutum and the audiences will surely love him in the role”. The actor also highlighted that working with Gopi Bhagat after Lorai was a good experience for him.
Gaurav who plays Hutum highlighted that the concept of the film and the unconventional rustic character that he plays in the film is what made him select the film.
This And Movies Film is eying for a release on the 15th of May.
