TataSky Daily Recharge Ad Stars in Kolkata
He may look like a young Ranveer Singh. But Mannu (Prit Kamani) is the new face of the 13 film TVC of Tata Sky’s Daily Recharge voucher. The new recharge voucher which is a first ever concept for DTH in the country was introduced by Mannu and Neelu (Himani Sisodiya). With this concept, a minimum recharge value starting at Rs 8 can be used to view television.
This innovation by Tata Sky gives the subscriber control of his/her TV viewing expenses. There are a substantial number of subscribers who pay a monthly charge, but for some reason or another are unable to view TV on a daily basis. For a large part of the population, they can economize and re-charge their set top box on days when they will get time to watch television. Similarly, they can decide on days when not to recharge for example during exam days or when travelling away from home.
Since there is a demand in smaller towns and villages for bite sized consumption (much like shampoo sachets and small sized mobile recharges), the ‘Daily Recharge’ card enables Tata Sky to make inroads into these untapped markets. Moreover, with digitization phase III still a year away, this plan should help accelerate acceptance of DTH sector in India.
Speaking of their experiences of shooting the 13 film TVC, actress Himani Sisodiya said “Oh! I had a lovely time shooting in Gulmarg for the TVC. This is a great opportunity. Moreover these are not the regular advertisements. The film format which showcases the love story of Mannu and Neelu with the daily recharge as the backdrop will entertain audiences for sure”.
Pick and choose the days when you want to watch television with Tata Sky. You save money and also have your freedom.
