Red Kitchen and Lounge Restaurant
The people of Kolkata, especially the food lovers have ample reasons to rejoice. Red Kitchen and Lounge Club opened its doors to the people of the city. The all day dining cum bar and lounge is located at 22 Camac Street.
“One of the most highlighting features of this restaurant is that it has the option of a live kitchen. This enables the customers to actually select the combinations in their dishes. There are times when the customer do not feel like eating the thing prepared by the restaurant. They want to experiment. But they do not get the chance. We are providing the customers with that chance to experiment. And we will be there to help them out with our advices on the best combinations in some of the foods that they select” said Chef Shankar Srinivas.
The restaurant has an extensive menu consisting of many Indian as well as Chinese dishes. A detailed grill, dimsum and desserts section is also present at the restaurant.
Some of the appetizers which will be made available for the customers at this restaurant include Spicy lemon garlic clear soup, Tofu and asparagus soup with coriander and others.
The Indian menu consists of Machli gandhraaj, Gilafi gosht seekh kebab, Dahi ke kebab and Kaju matar ki shammi kebab. The Chinese section consists of Corn curd pepper salt, Lotus stem with Szechwan wild pepper, Crispy scallop tossed with garlic infused spicy butter and Crispy aromatic lamb.
Chilled fruits with green tea cream, Cheese cake of the day are some of the desserts for the sweet loving customers who will be visiting the restaurant.
The restaurant is spread over an area of five thousand square feet and has room for hundred and twenty people. The meal for two individuals will cost around Rs 1500 plus taxes. The restaurant will operate from 12 noon till 12 midnight.
