Model Ushosie Sengupta and Prahlad Kakkar at Edutainment Show
The Edutainment Show 2015, India’s biggest Education Festival and Exhibition was graced by model Ushosie Sengupta and Ad Guru Prahlad Kakkar on its second day.
Model Ushosie Sengupta conducted a session called “Meet the Diva”. The model highlighted on the fact how family support is very important for a person to progress in the world of modeling. “I remember the first time I told my dad that I was shifting to the general course to complete my Graduation. He was aghast. I had understood that I wanted to devote more time to my modeling than to my studies. Hence I made the choice. Believing in your capabilities is of vital importance for people in this field” said the model.
Ushosie also recalled how she had spent time with Sushmita Sen during her training for the Miss Universe pageant. “She was my role model. And staying with her during the pageant was dream come true for me. I even wore the same gloves that she wore at the Miss Universe pageant when I went to represent India at the same event a few years ago” said the excited model.
After Ushosie, Ad Guru Prahlad Kakkar took the stage. He spoke on “How brands are like human beings and why humanizing a brand can only lead to success”. The person who is responsible for many successful ad campaigns highlighted on the fact that the brands are like humans and when one creates a brand, certain qualities are assigned to it giving it a human feel.
He also showed many old advertisements which still have great popularity among the masses due to the human qualities associated with the brand. “Many advertisements made today do not have this quality and hence cannot connect with the audiences easily. Many advertisements are just funny for the sake of it. They do not evoke laughter naturally” said Mr. Kakkar.
The second and the final day of The Edutainment Show was a great success and also gave the assembled guests an insight into the world of media.
