In the august presence of Soumitra Chatterjee, Alokananda Roy and other Kolkata celebrities, the album Aro Alo Aro Preme was released. The album contains eight musical compositions of Rabindranath Tagore.
This is the first album in which music composer Debojyoti Mishra has worked with his wife Jonaki Mukherjee. The album has eight songs and has popular Rabindra Sangeet songs like Aguner poroshmoni and Phule phule dhole dhole in it too. The songs in the album have been picked in such a manner so as to inspire the young minds and inculcate positive values in them.
Jonaki Mukherjee began singing at the tender age of five. She did her first recording for Haimanti Shukla’s album. She is trained in Classical Music as well in Rabindra Sangeet too. A regular artist with Akaashbani and Doordarshan, she has worked with eminent musicians like Sailen Mukhopadhyay, Ashoktaru Bandopadhyay, Y. S. Mulki and others.
“I have composed music for many movies and albums. But by far this has been the most wonderful experience. Jonaki and I have selected the songs and Jonaki has done a great job in the album” said Debojyoti Mishra.
With this album, Jonaki Mukherjee wants to instill the values that Tagore had mentioned in his songs in the minds of the youth.
Released by Asha Audio, the music arrangement of the album has been done by Debojyoti Mishra.
