Sheena Bora Murder Case Adapted into Bengali Film Dark Chocolate
The whole country is still in shock after the grueling revelations of the Sheena Bora murder case. Tollywood film maker Agnidev Chatterjee has taken up the initiative to make this gruesome incident into a film by the title of Dark Chocolate. The press conference of the film took place recently in the presence of the director and the star cast consisting of Bollywod actress Mahima Chaudhry, Shataf Figar, Riya Sen, Mumtaz Sorcar, Rajesh Sharma, Indrasish Roy, Sudip Mukherjee, Rwik Basu and others.
The film Dark Chocolate takes a fictional route to sketch the life of Indrani Mukherjee. Mahima Chaudhry plays the role of Ishani inspired by the character of Indrani Mukherjee and Riya Sen plays the role of Rina Bardhan which is inspired by the character of Sheena Bora.
The film is shot in Hindi, Bengali and English languages. Speaking at the press conference Mahima Chaudhry said “I began shooting from yesterday and I am having a grand time. The director knows what he wants and this makes the job of an actor so much easy. We have done so many scenes in this short span!!”
Riya Sen who plays the role of Rina Bardhan said “I was so worried when the director gave me so many Bengali lines. However I did my best to deliver them in the way he wanted it. After having done a couple of Bengali films, I am more confident with the Bengali lines now”.
The producer, Mr. Pradip Churiwal revealed that he has plans of releasing the film by the month of November-December.
