Amidst the flurry of activities that characterise the coming of the Goddess, dining out is definitely of prime importance for the food loving Bengalis. Each family schedules their daily agenda on these festival days keeping the food factor in consideration.
“Trinayanir Trimatra” the Durga Pujo festival at De Sovrani will feature a special delicious lip smacking buffet on each of the festival days from 19th October to 22nd October 2015, at Sand.
On each of the 4 days, there will be an extensive buffet where each day’s menu has been planned keeping the hot favourites in mind. Priced very reasonably this buffet is a boon for the hungry gourmands during the Pujo days.
After settling down with a glass of chilled Doi er Ghol or Cha er Sharbat Gandhoraj Lebu diye, one can munch on Non Vegetarian Starters such as Kucho Chingrir Chop, Kobiraji Mutton Cutlet, Chicken Lollypop, Bhetki Macher Chop among others while the Vegetarians could opt for Mochar Potli Kebab, Shahi Palak Tikki, Phool Kopi Kadai Shutir Chop and Hakka Veg. Spring Roll and others.
The main courses consist of Biryani, Tandoori Chicken, Kosha Mangsho, Chitol Macher Muitha ,Chingri Macher Kalia in the non vegetarian section whereas the vegetarians could sample Shahi Paneer Korma, Aloo Phool Kopir Kosha, Kadai Shuti Diye Dhokar Dalna, Poncho Rongo Sobji, Pur Bhora Potol, Bhindi Kurkure and Doi Begun among others.
Apart from that there will be Luchi, Radha Ballavi, Kadai Shutir Kochuri, Naan, Roti, Chinese staples and almost 10 varieties of desserts and an ice cream parlour.
