Bengali Audio Music Album Se Je Sob Hote Apon Launched; Veteran Actor Soumitra Chatterjee Graces the Occasion


New Bengali Tagore Songs Album Launched

The mysticism and philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore has always mesmerized singer Devasish Bhattacharya. In order to pay tribute to the Bard, Devasish Bhattacharya has come up with a music album titled Se Je Sob Hote Apon. The album launch took place at The Plush, The Astor Hotel in the august presence of veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee, Rajkumar Sengupta, Lopamudra Mandal Saha and others.


“Whenever I see youngsters, they listen to the songs of Tagore as something which has been passed down to them by their elders. Hence, this is an attempt to make them feel connected to the songs. I have not tampered with the emotions and music of the songs however. Let’s see whether the youngsters like my effort or not” said singer Devasish Bhattacharya.


The music of the album is by Rajkumar Sengupta and Gaurab (Gaboo) Chatterjee. The narration is by Soumitra Chatterjee and Paulomi Chatterjee. The songs which are included in the album are Aar nohe aar, Na chahile jare, Oi asontole, Tomari naam bolbo, Amar sonar horin, Aji joto tara, Tumi je surer agun, Jhoro jhoro jhoro jhoro, Amaro prane and O amar chander alo.

Priced at Rs 125, the music album has been brought out by INRECO.
