Suman Ghosh’s next film ‘Peace Haven’ First Look Launched; A Story Based on Real Life Incidents



After having premiered at the Busan International Film festival to rave reviews, Suman Ghosh’s next film Peace Haven is eyeing for release in January. The first look launch of the film took place recently in the presence of the director Suman Ghosh along with Sanjay Nag, Abhijit Guha, Soumitra Chatterjee, Paran Bandopadhyay, Arun Mukhopadhyay, Satrajit Sen and others.


‘Peace Haven’ is the story of three septuagenarian friends who embark on a journey to build their very own mortuary. They begin their voyage after witnessing the cremation of another friend in his son’s absence.


Speaking about the film, director Suman Ghosh said “The story of this film is based on some real life incidents that I have come across. I am interested in the lives of people who are in their 70’s and 80’s. The film is an allegorical journey of three friends who make preparations for their death”.


Arun Mukhopadhyay mentioned that he had good time acting in this film. “I had worked beforehand with Soumitra babu and it was good to share screen space with him” said the veteran actor.
The film has a stellar cast consisting of Soumitra Chatterjee, Poran Bandopdhyay, Arun Mukhopadhyay and Sujan Neel Mukherjee.

Directed by Suman Ghosh, the screen play is by Arindam Ghosh and Suman Ghosh. Mayookh Bhaumik has composed the music of the film.

Presented by Tripod Entertainment, the movie is all set to release on 8th January 2016.
