Saptapadi rrestaurant opened its new outlet at Hindustan Park on the birthday of late actress Suchitra Sen. The forty five seater restaurant will help you immerse yourself in the nostalgia of the legendary pair of Uttam Kumar and Suchitra Sen.
The walls are well adorned with the pictures of the two legendary artists. The ambience created is that of the 80’s. Fusion is the theme of this restaurant and that showcases itself in the food served here. “What we have tried is doing a fusion of Bengali food with Continental touches and vice versa. This will give the customers something new to try apart from the usual tried and tested dishes” said Chef Ranjan Biswas.
Some of the dishes which caught our correspondent’s attention include Tex mex nachos with refried Mocha, Murgi bhora mousse with tomato tulsi coolie, Ranga aloo and karai suti mangshor pie, Ilish steak, Baked dab chingri Alaska, Crispy chilli mourala, Cheesy phulkopir Fritters among others.
The restaurant will be serving this Combo Bongo meal only for dinner at the Hindustan park outlet while the Bengali dishes will be available for lunch. The pocket pinch for two individuals is Rs 600plus taxes.
