Zindagi a non-film music album by Kankana and Sanchari was released in the august presence of eminent musical personalities from Bengal like Debojyoti Mishra, Purbayan Chatterjee at Multipurpose Hall (Shrishikshayatan School). The music of this album has been composed by Avra Banerjee.
The album “Zindagi” captures the essence of different emotions of life like compassion, love, simplicity, dreams, joy, sorrow, loneliness and detachment. The album is a compilation of five modern Hindi songs which will give the listeners a classy feel of blending genres seamlessly ranging from Progressive Rock, Jazz, Blues, Latin and Indian classical music.
This compilation of non-filmy music features two very talented singers Kankana and Sanchari who are making their debut with the album. They are cousins and belong to a musical family and have been trained in Hindustani Classical music from childhood. Tamal K Halder has done the arrangement, drums programming and mixing while the lyrics has been penned down by Bhaswar Dasgupta for this album.
The album is readily available at all music stores all over the city.
