Video: Press conference of Upcoming Bollywood Film 7 Hours to Go
The cast of the upcoming Bollywood film “7 Hours to Go” consisting of Shiv Pandit, Sandeepa Dhar and Himanshu Malik was present in Kolkata to address the media. The event took place at ILEAD.
Written and directed by Saurabh Varma, the film is a past faced investigative thriller. The film is set in Mumbai. Inspired by a true event revolving around a hostage crisis, it shows what happens seven hours after the incident happens.
Actress Sandeepa Dhar who plays the role of a Mumbai cop in the film had trained in MMA for six months to prepare herself for the role. Speaking at the occasion, the actress said “Though I may look fragile and delicate, the action packed role surely gave me a great satisfaction. Many people thought how will I do it? But I am glad I have been able to do it. As an actress it is always fun to act in different kinds of roles which is quite contrary to what you are in real life”.
The actress also added that her co-actor Shiv often found her Cartwheel videos on a social networking site. “But I have grown so addicted to the things that I have learnt during the making of the film. I was not convinced whether I will be able to do them. But my director believed in me and I did them. Moreover in today’s time, it is better for girls to learn some form of self defense so that they can protect themselves without depending on men” added the actress.
Shiv Pandit said “I play a man who is so frustrated with nobody doing anything against the wrongs happening in the society that he takes up law in his own hands. However I will ask the audience not to do such a thing in their real life”.
The film “7 Hours to Go” is slated for release soon.
