The album is created as an ode to all the women who have carved a special place for themselves in the society. The album contains five tracks in total. The title track is named ‘Choo Lo Aasmaan ‘which is in Hindi language. The same track is also present in Bangla and English and has been sung by the upcoming singer Ms. Shrijita Mitra (of Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa kids fame).
The fusion track is called “Fire and Ice Together” and has Jazz and Funk fused with Hindustani Classical Raaga. This type of fusion is a first of its kind as Hard and Grunge rock has never been fused together. The classical part of this track has been sung by Ashmita Kar. The Hard Rock part has been rendered vocally by Argha Bannerjee.
The ‘Unplugged’ version of the title track gives depth to the album and has been sung by an upcoming singer Rakhi Biswas.
Pratik came up with this unique fusion album to promote Indian Classical music in a different way which will appeal to young and old generations alike. Pratik dedicates this album to his late Father Mr. Dulal Karmakar and his mother Mrs. Pratima Karmakar and to all the women who have been an epitome of beauty, strength, and intelligence.
The music has been directed, arranged, played and programmed by Pratik Karmakar – Music Director at Colors Bangla.
