Video: First Anniversary of The GT Route
The first anniversary celebrations of the multi-cuisine restaurant The GT Route was celebrated recently. Executive Chef Rupam Banik, actress Sudipta Chakraborty along with other members of the restaurant cut the cake to mark this one year celebration.
The first anniversary celebration menu boasts of different delicious dishes fom Kabul to Kolkata. Banarasi Aam Laasi (Oudh), Bedanjan (Kabul) and Dahi Bhalla(Punjab) are the coolers and salads offered in the new menu. The vegetable starters consist of Chane Ka Kebab (Kabul), Veg Peshwari Kebab (Peshawar), Paneer Pudine Di Tikki (Punjab), Chowk Ki Tikki (Oudh) and Mochar Chop (Bengal).
The Non-vegetarian starters consist of Gola Kebab (Peshawar), Machchi Amritsari (Punjab), Murgh Angare (Oudh) and Chingrir Patisapta (Bengal). Breads consist of Taftan (Oudh), Jaali Rooti (Bengal), Katlama (Peshwawar) and Amitsari Kulcha (Punjab).
Main course dishes consist of Peshawari Mugh Masala (Peshawar), Pindi Chole (Punjab), Lagan Ki Boti (Oudh) and Bhapa Ilish (Bengal).
Desserts consist of Shir Berenj (Kabul), Anaras Ka Muzaffar (Oudh) and Kheer Malpua (Bengal).
Speaking at the occasion, actress Sudipta Chakaborty said “I have not come here before and I am wondering why!! I have tried a few items and they are so excellent. I plan to come once a week so that I can try everything from Kolkata to Kabul. Or else completing everything in one day will be a big problem”.
The special menu will be available till 21st August. A meal for two will cost Rs 800 plus taxes. Lunch will be available from 12 pm to 4pm and dinner will be served from 7pm to 11.30pm.
