Floatel with spectacular reverie ambiance has always held a special place in the hearts of Kolkatans. Floatel has walked down the memory lane to reinvent the rich past heritage of royal kitchens of British Calcutta to pamper the taste buds of their guests and offer the exotic menus to the food lovers. The Durga Puja menu of Floatel will be available at The Bridge 24×7 restaurant from 7th to 11th October. The menu was launched in presence of special guests like Riddhi Bandyopadhyay, Devajit Bandyopadhyay, Pranati Tagore and Biplab Dasgupta.
The theme of the food festival is Ganga Bokhee Sarodiai Babu Bilash. The menu will be available in buffet style and a la carte style. Starter consists of Niromjoner Dimer Devil and Chatu babur Chanar Cutlet.
Fish recipes consist of Thakur Barir sorse bhapa patoori, Sen babuder makho makho katlar kalia, Marble palacer golda malai, Rai ginnir bhetkir dimond fry, Dorponaryan thakurer priya posto dia ilisher tel jhal and Sorse bata chingri.
Chicken recipes consist of Jan bajarer Mothurbabur Kaju badam bata murgi and Sahi Chicken chaanp la jawab. Mutton recipe on offer include Pathuria ghatatar panthar Kalia. Vegetable dishes consist of Gaach Panthar Kossa Jhal, Kaanch kolar cutlet and Singhi Barir Kumro aloor Chokka. Kajoo bahari gorom makhan Bhog will be available in the rice dish.
Breads include Lakhi Ghier phoolko Loochi. Sweets include Paka Amer Mithai, Bhola Moirar Monohara Darbesh, Lady ginii and Rabri Chencha Rasogolla.
The timing is from 12.00 noon to 3.30 pm for lunch and dinner will be served from 7.00 pm to 12.00 am. The price per head is Rs- 1299 + taxes and Rs-899 +taxes for children below 5 years and for infants it is completely free.
