Singer Nachiketa’s Bengali-Assamese Audio Music Album ‘Setu’ Launched

Setu, as the name suggests means bridging the gap between two places. In this case, it is bridging the gap between Bengal and Assam. Ace singer Nachiketa Chakraborty and Madhusmita Bhattacharya got together to bring out this audio music album Setu.

Setu has eight songs, the music of which has been composed by Nachiketa, Jateen Sharma and Palash Gogoi. The lyrics have been penned down by Nachiketa, Hiren Gohain, Palash Gagoi and Rajdeep. Nachiketa and Madhusmita have sung two duets in the album and the other six songs are singles by the two singers.

Speaking at the occasion, Nachiketa said “I have known Madhusmita for a long time now. The fact that she is a good singer has led me to do this album with her. Jokes apart, the album will be a bridge between Bengal and Assam. The listeners will like the album as this has different songs to offer to them. Five Bengali and three Assamese songs will surely mesmerize them”.

The name of the album Setu was suggested by Nachiketa Chakaborty.

Brought out by SONY DADC, the music album has been priced at Rs 125.
