Raichak on Ganges is a 100 acre premium leisure destination comprising a hotel, boutique resort, spa, country club and theme based country homes. To usher in the festive season, an elaborate cake mixing ceremony was arranged at The Ffort Raichak, with General Manager Mayukh Ray, model-actress Ushoshi Sengupta along with designers Lopamudra Mandal Saha and Indroneel Mukherjee. The environment was charged with pre-Christmas cheers and songs playing in the background.
Cake Mixing is traditionally done to celebrate the advent of Christmas and the start of winter festivities. It is also considered to be an usher for good tidings and happiness.
The 100 kilo mixture had an abundant amount of colorful cherries, dates, plums, assorted dry fruits, currants, sultanas, dried figs, glacé cherries, brown sugar, almonds flakes and liquor like wine, rum and whiskey was in abundance to soak the fruit in. Spices like cardamom, cloves and cinnamon sticks were roasted and added for a rich flavor.
Ffort Raichak has a weeklong celebration during December when they will be organizing their flagship Fort Fiesta, which is a celebration with special programs. There will be a lot of guests during that time and everything works up to the 31st which is a gala night for them. Pop up bands playing in the lobby will ensure great music.
The fresh baked matured tasty plum cake will be available from December onward.
