AMRI Group of Hospitals, Eastern India’s largest chain of Super Specialty Tertiary care hospital, launched AMRI PHR (personal health record) mobile app using next generation patient engagement platform. The platform helps in the proper management of a person’s healthcare experience through electronic records. The launch was done in the presence of Rituparna Sengupta, Rupak Barua, Debashis Roy and Chandrasekhar.

A patient only needs to provide important details like the solution they seek, medical history, and upload documents if any, location in the app. AMRI would provide a fine choice of experts suitable for that particular need.  Not only that, free cloud storage will be provided, where a patient can upload past reports, prescriptions negating any chance of loss of any important information.

Rituparna Sengupta said “From the time we get up to the time we go to sleep, we need mobiles. In this era where digitalization is so much in vogue, this is a good app which if used in the right way will be helpful in settling many health issues and troubles of individuals”.

The new AMRI App is available both in Google Play Store and Apple App Store for Android and Apple users. The AMRI app has been designed to make it quick and simple for patients to manage details from their smartphones, including reviewing test results and medical bills, information on the medical packages, diagnostic tests, managing prescriptions, and scheduling appointment.

The USP of the application is the Emergency option with navigational feature that helps a user to navigate hospital according to the distance from a user’s location and also make a direct call to the Emergency Unit. With this app, patients do not have to come to the hospital for the lab tests. It supports collection for lab test facility at home and health check up packages where users can select the desired package and can make the payment online. Accordingly the person from the hospital would visit the patients home to collect the blood sample. After few hours, the patient can view the results in his app. The app would be immensely beneficial to aged and elderly patients whose movements are restricted and also with the NRI’s whose parents live in India.

Another unique feature of the App is Associate Network. With the help of this a non smart phone user can get the details of his/her appointment history, reports through an OTP generated from a user who owns a smart phone.

The app is surely going to be of much help to the users and bring positive changes in the lives of many!!
