Vintage Asia is the Asian fine-dining restaurant at the JW Marriott Kolkata. Vintage Asia mixes contemporary Asian cuisine with modern cooking techniques.
The food is inspired by the Asian Culinary heritage, showcasing authentic Thai and Chinese cuisine. The restaurant features a Beverage Lounge, at the very front of restaurant, with casual seating. It encourages guests to linger, making it the perfect place to enjoy a light meal or a perfectly mixed cocktail.
At Vintage Asia, Chef Tan and Chef Ninja, who specialize in Chinese and Thai cuisine respectively is present to give the taste buds a fresh lease of flavor. The Chefs have the flair and the gift of presenting a dish which will appeal to the patrons.
The must try from Vintage Asia menu’s Steam section is Beijing vegetable dumpling with celery & mushroom, sesame sauce and the Chicken, Shitake Siumai. From the Wok section, try the Wok seared pork belly & pineapple in Chef Tan’s brown sauce and the Phad Thai, flat noodle with tamarind & chili. A Thai meal is not complete without the curries. Hence one must not miss the Thai Green Fish Curry, Broccoli, Pea aborigine, Choy Sum. Finish your meal with ‘Tub Tim Krob- Chilled Jellied Waterchest nut, sweetened coconut cream with its innovative mix of tang.
Dinner will be available from 6:30 pm – 11:30 pm while lunch (weekends only) will be available from 12:30 – 3:00 pm.
