Chinese Consul General Ma Zhanwu addressed the press about Shandong Delegations visit to West Bengal, India. The delegation will be coming on the 5th and continue till the 6th of April, 2017. Led by Mr. Junmin Wand, a senior vice governor of the province, the main aim of this visit is to seek opportunities for economic investment and cooperation in West Bengal, India.

The Chinese Consulate General in Kolkata is working with WBIDC and ICC to arrange the official meeting. The B2B will be followed by a signing ceremony. The next day, the delegation will go on a tour of an industrial park, a farm and a juice production plant.

The fifteen companies which will be represented by twenty two businessmen are among the top businesses in China in areas like pesticide manufacturing, fertilizer manufacturing, storing and packaging, agro machinery manufacturing, seafood and meats and so on.

Sixty Indian businessmen representing fifty five companies will attend the B2B meeting. The reason for choosing East India is because of the improvement in the market conditions in the region. Coupled with this is the long term prospects for huge development as promised by the BCIM Economic Corridor, an initiative which has been applauded by businesses, academics and governments of the four countries.

With such a huge participation from both the countries, the delegation will be a resounding success for sure.
