The music album launch of Vedatronics took place in the presence of Abhishek Basu, Malobika Banerjee, Avik Ganguly, Sudipta Chakraborty, Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya and others.

Vedatronis bridges the gap between the primal and the future. Ancient sound of musical instruments like tabla, pakhwaj, tribal drums is fused with modern instruments and technology to create a diverse sound scape. Different Vedic chants and old Thumris are also used in a few of the songs in the album.

There are seven songs in the album namely- Shivam, Najariya, Funk Sutra, 7th Circle-Rigveda, Faagun, In orbits-Krishna mantra and Mori tut gayi ab aas. The songs have been sung by Sayantan Bhowmick and Ivy Banerjee.

Speaking at the event, Abhishek Basu said “I was not the team leader. Rather this is a group effort at doing something new. This is fusion but not the type that would make some people cringe. Maybe some people will not like it, but chances are some will also like it. Looking forward to the response from the audience”.

After the music album release, Vedatronics has three months extensive tour of USA, where the team will be performing at various prestigious events.

Priced at Rs 175, the album is available at the online and retail stores.
