The book launch of On the margins of love- The Nanavati Syndrome-1959-1964 was launched in the presence of writer Dr. Abhijit Dutta, Sadhan Pande, Hon’ble Miniser, Consumer Affairs and Self Help Group and Self Employment West Bengal, Chittobrata Palit, Director, Institute of Historical Studies, Kolkata and Tapati Sengupta, Former Head of the Dept History, Loreto College.

The book highlights the sensational Ahuja murder case of 1959 which shook the conscience of India. The murder was the result of the adulterous relationship that had grown between Kawas Maneckshaw Nanavati’s wife with Prem Ahuja. He was later shot dead by Nanavati, detailed court proceedings have been furnished in the book to give the readers a detailed idea about the issue.


This was followed by an interesting discussion with the panelists and the author.
