Mango Brunch at JW Kitchen; Great Way to Bid Adieu to Season of Mangoes



With monsoon coming to Kolkata after the long and scorching summer, it is time to say good bye to mangoes. JW Marriott Kolkata has come up with a good way of bidding adieu. The hotel is organizing a Mango Brunch at their all day dining den- JW Kitchen for the customers.

Begin with some healthy options from the Salad Station like ‘Chicken and sour mango roulade’, ‘Sesame crusted river salmon with raw mango salsa’ and ‘Roasted Peking duck with spicy mango compote’. You can try some seasonal variations, from the Mezze counter like – ‘Mango Hummus’, ‘Tzatziki with Mango’ amongst others.


The mains consist of ‘Lamb bolognaise stuffed pepper with feta & mango couscous’ and ‘Mango and black bean Polenta cake with guillion chilli mango sauce’ from the Western station. Asian delights like ‘Thai Mango and Chicken Red Curry’ and ‘Mango and Lemongrass Dimsum’ are also available. The Indian mains on offer are ‘Subz Mango Biryani’, ‘Sabz Aur Aam Diwani Hundi’ and ‘Andhra Mamidikaya mumsum iguru (Mutton Curry with Mango)’.

They have 5 different varieties of carefully crafted Sangrias on offer. For the beerholics, there are varieties of beer and beer cocktails. The spread of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is sure to entice you.


The Dessert Station has an extensive assortment of delectable desserts for you, with the specialty for the day- Mango. Choose from ‘Mango Chiffon Cake’, ‘Mango and basil Vacherin’, ‘Mango mille-feuille’, ‘Mango Blancmange’, ‘Mango mascarpone crepes poached in caramel mango sauce’ amongst others to appease your sweet tooth.

The timing is from 12:30 – 3:00 pm and the prices per person are Rs 1300 plus taxes. This brunch will be available on 2nd July, Sunday.
