Kolkata West International City (KWIC) Celebrated Independence Day; Trees Planted to Reduce Pollution



Kolkata West International City (KWIC) residents celebrated the 71st Indian Independence Day by hoisting the flag and by planting trees to aim for a greener and pollution free environment. With this vision in mind, the Management has pledged to plant almost one lakh trees within their township. Mr. Anandarup Bandyopadhyay, Director, Kolkata West International City was present at the occasion.

To take this initiative forward, the first step has already been taken on Independence Day by opening one more park for the residents of KWIC.

The residential township has more than 900 bungalows at the moment, among which most of them has already been completely handover to the families. 400 families currently reside in KWIC.
