Michael Clarke Handed Over Sir Donald Bradman’s Bat to Fanattic Sports Museum, Kolkata

Fanattic Sports Museum announced one of the finest artefacts of sports industry as a treasure of Fanattic Sports Museum, Kolkata at a star studded event at Ecospace.

The event saw the presence of eminent sports personalities like Michael Clarke, Jhulan Goswami, Deep Dasgupta and others. Dr. Boria Majumdar, the founder of the Fanattic Sports Museum, was the moderator at the event.

Cricket is immensely popular in Kolkata. Eminent cricketer Michael Clarke handed over Sir Donald Bradman’s bat (often referred as The Don), from the first India Australia Tour of 1947-48. This he did on behalf of Nikhil Daftary, eminent sports collector from Melbourne, who actually presented and loaned the bat to the museum. He also presented a signed hand painted poster capturing his highest moment in cricket, where he scored 329 not out against India in January 2012 in Sydney.

Head to the museum to get a look at this iconic bat!!
