The premiere of the Bengali film Doob: No Bed Of Roses took place in Kolkata recently. Irrfan Khan, Parno Mitra, director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki and others graced the occasion.
Doob is a Bangladesh-India co-production drama film written and directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki. Produced by Abdul Aziz, Himanshu Dhanuka and Irrfan Khan under the banner of Jaaz Multimedia and Eskay Movies along with Irrfan Khan Films, the film stars Irrfan Khan, Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Rokeya Prachy and Parno Mittra in pivotal roles.
The story revolves around two families. The members of the two families discover love when the head of one family dies. The theme of this film is that death does not always take things away from you. It also gives back things to you.
The film marks Khan’s 10th international film.
The film’s premiere also saw the presence of actress Rituparna Sengupta and other eminent guests of tinsel town.
