The documentary traces the growth of the actor and his struggles in making a name for himself. It also shows how he single-handedly saved the Bengali film industry when it was going through a rough patch.

The director duo have tried to show this larger than life personality through interviews conducted of personalities like Sourav Ganguly, Rituparna Sengupta, Srijit Mukherji, Rachana Banerjee, Pallavi Chatterjee, Juhi Chawla, Trishanjit Chatterjee and many others.
