Piracy is a rampant phenomenon all over the world. The makers of Comrade have decided to file a civil suit for copyright infringement resulting in both financial loss and poor quality exposure of the movie.
A producer invests hard earned money into making a movie. But when that is pirated and displayed on digital platform it results in financial loss, said Indrajit Roy who is the producer of the film.
Comrade was released on July 21 this year and is a movie on Singur Nandigram resistance.
Director Shanku Deb Panda added that when a film is pirated and shown, the movie looks poorly made. This hurts a creative person. One must stop this and he has decided to take this anti-piracy battle forward.
