Session on National Pollution Control Day Organized at MCKV Institute of Engineering

MCKV Institute of Engineering organized a session to mark National Pollution Control Day at their campus. Mr. Subhas Dutta, renowned environment activist was present to enlighten the session.

The National Pollution Control Day is celebrated every year on the 2nd of December in India with an aim to make the people and industries aware about the Pollution Control Acts and the responsibility that it enjoins on us.

Environment is such a subject on which people do not act or they are not proactive. 50-70% of the city’s pollution arises from automobile emissions. Global warming happens because of the people. One has to maintain your life in such a way that you are not much dependent on power.

The session gave the assembled audience an idea of the growing menace of pollution and ways to combat it.
